IBA Supports Modernization of Regulation of Beauty and Cosmetics Products,
Pledges to Work Closely with FDA on Implementation

(Addison, TX) – December 21, 2022: The Independent Beauty Association (IBA) is pleased that the 
Modernization of Cosmetics Regulations Act of 2022 has been included in the Omnibus government 
funding bill. IBA intends to work closely with the FDA as it implements the new law and creates its
regulations.
